In the middle of January, the UCSB Men’s and Women’s Club Ultimate teams kick off the Collegiate Ultimate season by hosting two tournaments for Frisbee teams all over California.  First is the SB Qualifier, in which 20 men’s teams and 12 women’s teams compete and winners are determined.  Those winners receive bids to the next tournament, the SB Invite.  The SB Invite is made up of 16 men’s teams and 16 women’s teams.

These tournaments utilize many of UCSB’s finest playing fields, including Rob Gym, Stork Field, and “The Pit.”  These tournaments are both held on Saturday and Sunday and last the whole day.  Teams can expect to play about 6 games.
