Come join UCSB Recreational Sports for the annual Briner Bowl bowling tournament at Zodo's during the spring quarter. This Baker bowl style tournament is held to remember and celebrate the life of our dear colleague and friend, Chad Briner, by partaking in one of his favorite activities, bowling. We will also be contributing to the UCSB Recreational Sports Chad Briner Memorial Student Staff Development Fund, which was set-up in his honor. His involvement in the creation of Gauchosplay.com and his love for Intramural Bowling has left a lasting impression on the UCSB campus.
No experience is necessary to participate, and spots will filling up fast. You can create a team of 5 or join individually. Stop by the UCSB Recreational Sports office to sign-up or sign up online.
All individual players will be placed on a team the day of the tournament. The Baker system places emphasis on the team effort, calculating an average score for each team. All proceeds and 15% of all food and beverage sales will be donated to The Chad Briner Memorial Student Staff Development Fund.
Cost: $20 individual & $100 team of 5
