The UCSB women’s ultimate team continued their stellar season as they marched through the competition at the Southwest Regional Tournament in Morgan Hill, California this weekend.  The Burning Skirts defeated the Stanford Cardinals 15-12 in the championship game.

The Southwest Regionals is the fourth consecutive tournament win for UCSB.  This impressive streak has earned them the #1 ranking in the nation.

“Our team has great camaraderie both on and off the field, which allows us to enjoy playing the game with a competitive edge,” team veteran Katie Hawn said.

The Burning Skirts will return to action on May 27 in Boulder, Colorado to compete for a national championship.
