PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This procedure establishes guidelines for sport club teams sponsored by the UCSB Exercise Sport Studies and Recreation Department.

PROCEDURES

Eligibility to become a Sport Club team sponsored by the Department of Exercise Sport Studies and Recreation.

To become a sport club team sponsored by the Department of Exercise Sport Studies & Recreation, a club must meet the following criteria:

• Be an extramural, competitive athletic team.
• Have a minimum of twelve UCSB student members.
• Register with the UCSB Office of Student Life and meet all specified organizational requirements.
• Obtain the approval of the Recreational Sports Director and the Director of Exercise Sport Studies and Recreation.
