Wilderness First Aid is an excellent introduction to wilderness medicine. Anyone who spends time in the outdoors owes it to themselves and their partners to take this 16 hour course. Successful completion of the course will include Wilderness First Aid and CPR certifications from Wilderness Medical Associates which are both valid for 3 years. This CPR course curriculum is consistent with current American Heart Association standards for the lay rescuer. In addition, it addresses in more detail the special concerns in a remote or wilderness setting.
