Employment

Are you interested in becoming an Adventure Program Outdoor staff member?

To become on staff as a leader with UCSB’s Adventure Programs, you must first enroll in the Leadership Training Course (LTC). This intensive course offers practical hands-on training as an outdoor adventure leader and is for those interested in leading groups through experiences in the outdoors. During the course, participants will spend time on a canoeing on the Colorado River, canyoneering, kayaking, backpacking, playing on a ropes course, and rock climbing. Participants will also learn about wilderness first aid, leadership skills, risk management, group dynamics, trip logistics and much more.

After completing LTC, members are chosen to become a part of the Adventure Programs staff.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING COURSE 2011 is starting soon! Come to any of the three info meetings and learn how to get involved. We will also discuss the course in greater detail.
