This two-day course is designed to help participants gain the technical skills to construct and climb on solid top rope anchors in an array of environments. The class includes a brief review of the fundamentals of top rope anchors and belay systems, comprehensive instruction on the use of natural and artificial protection, and the basics of self-rescue.

The fee includes instruction, climbing equipment, and climbing shoes. Transportation is not provided; therefore, all transportation is by carpool. This class has a maximum enrollment of six, so sign up fast!

The prerequisite for this class is Rock II or an equivalent.
